Early career

He made his Insane Championship Wrestling debut on 6 February 2011, at The Notorious ICW.  He teamed with Vinnie James in a losing effort against Davey Blaze and Stevie Xavier (The Bucky Boys). He also participated in the Six-Way Championship Scramble match for the ICW Zero-G Championship which was won by Noam Dar. He teamed with his younger brother at Up In Smoke! on 6 May 2012 to become victorious against Noam Dar and Andy Wild in the ICW Tag Team Championship tournament’s first round. The Coffey Brothers lost their match in the tournament’s semi-final.

He became victorious against Big Damo on 31 July 2016 to win the ICW World Heavyweight Championship. He became the ICW World Heavyweight Champion again on 16 April 2017. He retained his title against Jack Jester in a steel cage match at Shug’s Hoose Party 4. He defended his title against multiple wrestlers like NXT’s Kassius Ohno, Jack Jester and Pete Dunne. He lost the title to BT Gunn at Fear and Loathing X at the SSE Hydro. After having six years of working experience with the promotion, he announced his departure through Twitter. Upon his return to the promotion at Barramania 4 on 29 April 2018, he challenged his younger brother Mark to an ICW Zero-G Championship match and finally register a win.

He marked a win against Prince Ameen on the first episode of What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW). He teamed with his brother to win against Prince Ameen and Gabriel Kidd on the 9 November episode in the WCPW Tag Team Championship tournament’s first-round match. The brothers registered a win against Travis Banks and Pete Dunne in the second-round match. In the final round, they lost to Johnny Moss and Liam Slater on 30 November at Delete WCPW.

WWE career

He was mentioned as one of 16 men competing in a one-night tournament to challenge the WWE United Kingdom champion, Pete Dunne, on 16 May 2018. In the tournament, he got victorious against Tucker in the first round and Dave Mastiff in the second round advancing him to the semi-finals where he lost to Travis Banks. With his brother Mark Coffey, he went to a mainstay of NXT UK marking the first win in the first-ever televised match on NXT UK.  The brothers form a sable with Wolfgang and began a feud with British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate). On 12 January 2019, he challenged Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship but was defeated after which was attacked by Walter who was making his debut.


He got qualified for a fatal-four-way match on the 8 May 2019 episode of NXT UK after marking a win against Flash Morgan Webster. He lost the fatal-four match on the 5 June episode of NXT UK. Later, he started a feud with Dave Mastiff. He and Mastiff competed to a double count-out on the 8 August episode of NXT. He had an ear injury during the match. He defeated Mastiff in a last-man-standing match at NXT UK Takeover which ended the feud between them. He challenged Walter at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool II on the 5 December episode of NXT UK. He lost to Walter at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool II.
