She spent most of her early days in her hometown after which she applied to several colleges. She went for training in improv comedy. She moved to Los Angeles when she was 19 years old. Her dream was to initiate her career as a comedic actress. However, she turned her mind and return back to Toronto where she went for auditions for movies, commercials and music videos. She worked hard but at the end, she gained full frustration after which she decided to pursue her career in broadcasting instead of acting.
In 2009, she started working for The Score Television Network on a program called Right After Wrestling. She appeared in the program alongside broadcasters Mauro Ranallo, Arda Ocal and Jimmy Korderas, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas.
