Shaul Guerrero is the first daughter of professional wrestler Vickie Guerrero (born April 16, 1968) and late wrestler Eddie Guerrero (October 9, 1967 – November 13, 2005). She is the granddaughter of Gory Guerrero (January 11, 1921 – April 18, 1990) who was better known for being a premier Mexican American professional wrestler. Her grandmother was named Herlinda Guerrero, sister of Enrique Llanes. She has three uncles named Chavo, Mando and Hector Guerrero. She carries French and Mexican descent from her mother’s side.

Her father died on November 13, 2005. He was very close to fellow wrestlers like Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, JBL, Batista, Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko. Shaul’s mother got engaged to partner Kris Benson in June 2015. They exchanged their vows on September 12, 2015.

Shaul was born in October 1990, six months after her parents’ wedding. Her maternal grandfather encouraged her parents to get married before welcoming their first child. She has a younger sister named Sherilyn Amber Guerrero (born July 8, 1995). Her parents separated for two years during which her father had a daughter named Kaylie Marie Guerrero with his relationship with a lady named Tara Mahoney.

Professional wrestling career

She was introduced to the world of wrestling through her father Eddie who won WWE Championship once, WWF European Championship twice, WWE United States Championship once, Eleventh Triple Crown Champion and was also inducted into WWE Hall of Fame (Class of 2006.

Shaul signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for a developmental contract on October 26, 2010. After this, she was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) making her debut for an FCW Divas Championship match in December 2010. The match was between Naomi Knight and AJ Lee. On February 11, 2011, television tapings, she made her in-ring debut using the ring name ‘Raquel Diaz.’ She and Naomi team together in a losing effort against AJ and Aksana. Later, she appeared as Alexander Rusev’s manager. She joined The Ascension faction managing the team members like Tito Colon, Kenneth Cameron, and Conor O’Brian.

She marked a win against Aksana on the November 17 episode of FCW TV making her become the new Queen of FCW. On the December 15 episode of FCW TV, she registered a victory against Audrey Marie to win the FCW Divas Championship. She retained her title against Marie and Sofia Cortez. In May, she lost a triple threat match to Paige. On June 29, she lost the title to Caylee Turner during a live event.

WWE re-branded FCW into NXT after which Diaz made a television debut on July 18, 2012, an episode of NXT defeating Paige in a singles match. She was granted a release from her developmental contract upon her request on September 27, 2012. She made her return in September 2013 and the report stated that she was given a leave and has never been released officially. She was released on April 30, 2014. It was reported that her eating disorder made her left the company.

After WWE

She made her return to professional wrestling on February 17, 2018, at the Reality of Wrestling event, as a commentator. She signed with Women of Wrestling as a ring announcer in the month of September. Her independent wrestling in-ring debut was recorded on December 4, 2020. She participated tournament to crown the first-ever GCW Women’s Champion where she registered a win against Renee Michelle in the first round before losing to Queen Aminata in the following round.
